Superheroes have had their fare share of being interpreted in many ways. First, they were appearing on comic books. Then came movies and TV shows. But one aspect that people seem to overlook is Video Games. I'm a super nerd when it comes to playing video games as my playstation account would show, with me being previously the 3rd on the leaderboards across all my country which is Kuwait with the highest trophies collected. For me to have gotten to that spot i was playing almost literally every game that came out in 2010-2013. This journey has led me to discover a game that is now very popular among many gamer around the world and that game series is the Batman Arkham series. The series includes Batman Arkham Asylum, Batman Arkham City, and lastly, Batman Arkham Knight. Arkham Asylum is arguably the best comic adaptation video game out there and it has made me become a Batman fan which the movies couldn't pull off in making me one.

Video Games are a great interactive way to
attract people that may not be into comic books, movies, or TV shows. And i belive that more superheroes should make in to consoles soon to boost their fan-ships

Interview With A Villain Fan

This was an interview that i had conducted with a a class mate of mine that was with me in a class last semester. The interviewee's name is ALI. He is 19 years old and goes to CSUN as a freshman.

  •  Y: Who is your favorite super hero?
  •  A: My favorite i'd have to say is not a superhero but a villain and he is Venom, from spiderman.
  •  Y: What do you think is the best comic adaptation that you saw or have been seeing?
  •  A: I watch shows like The Flash and Walking dead, i heard about the other ones like Gotham but i havent seen it yet.
  •  Y: Do you think comic books are still relevant or do you think TV shows and movies are the way to go when viewing superheroes?
  •  A: I'm still a fan of comic books and i still read them to this day so to me they are relevant.
  •  Y: How old were you when you began to read comic books? And what made you read them to begin with?
  •  A: Well, if i remember correctly my first comic book that i read was about venom. I read that when i was a young teenager at the age of 13 i'd say. Comic books drew me in when i first started watching movies like the spiderman trilogy.
  •  Y: Ok Ali, One last question to conclude on. Who is a superhero that you would love to see staring in a TV show or a movie that has not had one yet?
  •  A: VENOM ALL THE WAY! They have to make more movies including him.
  •  Y: Alright, thank you for your time Ali
  •  A: Your welcome.

This is Venom to those who don't know him

Wrap up

Comics on TV are progressively increasing in both the amount of shows that are put on, as well as the viewership of fans. Shows like Arrow, The Flash, Gotham, Supergirl and Daredevil are ushering in an era where Comic superheroes are the main attractions and becoming the "water-cooler" talk around offices and schools. I leave readers of our blog "Comics on TV" with thoughts of why do you as a reader think that superheroes are only now becoming super famous amoung people of all ages? I've learned throughout the research of this topic that the fans of the TV shows don't necessarily need to be fans of the actual comic books iterations, and that liking a superhero show doesn't mean that viewers will now go and read the comic books. So in my opinion, i view comic books as a thing of the past, with the TV shows now being the main way to project these superheroes in a way that is more lifelike than reading them on books. Cheer and Enjoy the rest of the blog posts from my Blog-mates :)

This is the End for Now!

Hello Blog readers, this will be my last blog for now, doesn't mean it will be my last. It is time to move on in life. Well I want to start by saying this was an honor to blog for you my audience of the new news and conspiracies there has been around the world and back. News about either movies, games, social media similarities and comparisons with celebrities playing different roles in either sports or in comic book wise. I learned allot from my topic that was how can we compare comic books with television shows. As you guys have seen I am a big Batman fan that somehow in some way I would talk something to do with Batman, if i overwrote to much by him I am sorry. As i go on, I have learned new things that I really did not pay attention to until now. I never believed television shows and comic books can go deep enough as my group partners and I did through this whole semester. The process became more different each time but could still be compared to my whole idea. That is why they say a picture can say a thousand words and it is true. In conclusion, to my bloggers and readers I want to say thanks for your time, thanks for your patience. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2016. until the next blog, see you soon and take care.

Brazilian "Hulk" Soccer Player vs. Marvel Hulk

Hello Blog readers! Today I will be comparing both favorite soccer player and also only Marvel Superhero I believe is he best. FIFA Headquarters made a commercial for the new FIFA game that was going to be coming out and the Brand Nike to get more people to buy there products. It showed different players turning to superheroes and one of my favorite ones was the one that I chosed today. Say hello to Hulk playing as Hulk ( Givanildo Vieira de Souzain) the soccer field. Souzain known as Hulk is born in Paraiba, Brazil  he is 29 years old weighing 187 lbs, 5'11 of height
.
He has a salary of 5 million Euros and plays for for a team in Russia called FC Zenit Saint Petersburg (#7 / Forward). In his national team that is Brazil he also plays forward or RW. He is known as Hulk in FIFA because he has green eyes, he has the face structure as Hulk and he is always fit. He is one of some players that are fit just by looking at them then when they take of their jerseys. As in the pictures the Marvel Hulk
cannot really play football because he will either scare the players away or throw the fall all the way to space.

Batman Never Seen Before, His Other Soft Side

Batman has never been seen his soft side. A side where he cares for someone that has been with him from the first years, Jason Todd. Jason Todd was Batman's sidekick known as Robin. Batman cared for Jason Todd than his own son Damian that became the last Robin. Jason Todd was never found after he was in Arkham Ayslum where Batman thought Todd had died, but indeed he died physically, but mentally he did. He had the patience to wait for Batman to come and save him but he never did. Joker was getting into Todd's head telling him "he will never come", "by now he already had another Robin by his side". But through all that Todd never gave up for Batman to come and save him from the Joker's cruelty. Joker would scared him, beat him and even call him his property until Todd gave in and gave up on his hope of being saved by Batman. In the comic book it shows Todd escaping with the last strength he had after he had been humiliated, physically and mentally hurt because he trusted Batman, but Batman never showed up. These are just some of the things
As in the game Batman Arkham Knight this is where the story continues on. Batman kept having those nightmares of watching Jason Todd suffer after the Joker was killed and somehow he was inside of Batman controlling his body in occasions. Batman had a new side kick that was Tim Drake, he saw him very different. Tim wanted to trust Batman and show him he is there for anything, but Batman would get away because he was always thinking of Todd. Without Batman knowing Todd was alive he came back to take vengeance against Batman. Both were blind because Batman did not know he was still alive, if he would've known there would be a big possibility Todd would had been saved. Batman did not know and Todd did not know Batman was not informed of his survival on Arkham Asylum. If both sides knew the story would've been different and they would not have had to fight against each other. this was the only time Batman truly showed his caring side either than his parent's death.

What Can Used for The Real World, And What Not

Mental health can affect anyone that is influenced when they are put around either if it's a movie, video games or media itself. Liam Clark says, Video games are the most affect to younger audience that play video games such as "Batman: Arkham Asylum". The game takes role in the Mental Hospital of Arkham where it's a game you play have the experience of a mental client going through your mental problems and fighting out door problems. As how Batman is going through all his troubles it is put in a game to see it in his own eyes and this can affect a person in reality such as some celebrities such as Amy Winehouse, Britney Spears, Paul Gascoigne, and Frank Bruno that they had some type of breakdown go through struggles such as drug addiction. Also, having to go to mental hospitals to get mental help or be put away because they have the mind of "ill killers or tales of triumph against adversity" (Clark). or even to the maximum of suicide and extermination to themselves. Furthermore, Clark claims, because they are big celebrities they can become a big role model to media and the viewers to even follow their steps even when they might know they are going through struggles and it's not a good thing.
In my opinion I am a big gamer, I have all the Batman games, especially Batman Arkham Asylum and I have never had that idea of affecting me in my person life after a fiction game. I see it more as a way to play and have different roles in games but never to the extent that it will affect me in my person life. Well nowadays there is nothing good to see in Television but except tragedies that happen in other countries weather from a natural disaster or man-made. Also, we have seen famous celebrities die, for example, Michael Jackson, Kurt Cobain (lead singer from band "Nirvana"), Amy Winehouse, Robin Williams, Paul Walker and more. This is a normal thing that everyone has to go through, we will all die some day just that these celebrities had something in their minds that they could not understand. Maybe unhappiness with themselves, not having the chance to live a normal life, and having the fear of what if... it was destiny or they decided to end their lives before. This is nothing more than what we see today. and I doubt someone will go mental from a video game such as Batman. But there is always an if.. but from my point of view I know whats good and whats bad. I know what can really be used in the real world and what is just to have fun with in a gaming world. And for sure I know I will keep on playing Batman Arkham Asylum  without a problem and watch social media without a problem too.

The Other side of the Comic Books, Marvel side

Hello Blog readers! Today I will be talking about someone else besides Batman and the DC Universe. Today it will be about is Marvel side of the story that is Black Panther and The Eternals. On the left is the very first comic issue of The Eternals with the caption "When Gods Walk The Earth". It is The Eternals side of there story that show a huge statue that is alive ready for battle meanwhile the superhero on yellow and blue tights seems to have the power such as Green Lantern because the ring is glowing is if he is about to attack or end the fight and in the bottom of him are to woman that have the outfit as the stone age and seem to be under the guy on yellow and blue tights that represents dominance, muscularity and same characteristics as Superman, not afraid of anything. with his yellow and blue tight he also reminds me of Aquaman, King of the Sea.
On my right side in my opinion the twin of Batman but on the Marvel side "Black Panther".  Why do I say this is Batman's twin, it's because of the outfit and persona. Batman used to where his costume called "Batman Beyond" that looks very similar to Black Panthers, except for the Batman Logo in the front and the red shading. Also, their personalities. They both have the same attitude that like to work alone and never show weakness for now nor themselves. In this comic issue it seems that Black Panther is in the need of help and how do I know? I can tell by his eyes that has opened wide as if not even he can understand the situation that is happening to him. Normally he has everything in control, but not this time.
Furthermore, his hands are reaching out to the reader to help him, how? I guess by reading the comic book. In conclusion, when I look at both comic books it seems as if it is a fight both The Eternals and Black Panther are having. As in the first issue on the left it looks like if the big blue monster is Black Panther fighting against The Eternals and on the right is the conitinuation of the fight, just that this time it's The Eternals in control. How do I know it might be him? I can tell by the tights he is wearing the colors seem very similar to each other. On the left comic book it is farther away compared to the right side comic book that is more closer and has more details.

Imaginary World vs Reality

Hello my fellow classmates, today I will be talking about how money changes everything in our persona, or how we are taught to believe money is everything in life but in reality it is a dream for some and a reality for others. Has anyone everyone heard "money cannot always buy you happiness" or as some might say, in some occasions. A person can have money for vacation, but after a while wouldn't they get bored? After too much fun there is always an end or get tired of the same routine. The term people use "Money talks", means as long as you have lots of money odds will always be on your side. As in the article, "Superhero Expenses: The Estimated Costs of Batman & Iron Man" by Rob Keyes compares two iconic superheroes from DC Universe and Marvel as we know them for their cool gadgets and the millions-billions of dollars they have to be as we know them superheros. Keyes compares both Batman and Iron-man to where they spent millions to billions in suits they wear to fight crime and how they waste money like nothing to make themselves feel good for themselves and be more modern. Which in reality, no rich person would want to spent a fortune of their money to go out, fight crime late night and make themselves look ridiculous in the streets. They would care more to make more money than spending. Media gives us this idea that without money their is no power, don't get me wrong on this, but money is good to an amount that is needed to live and survive each day. As in the article, "How Much Money Do You Really Need To Be Happy?" by Robert Glatter, MD, explains, money is needed as a way of living each day, to feed our families and live a healthy life and a "comfortable standard", normal life not having to deal with how much money is being made and losing. To live in the "comfortable standard" it has to be a yearly salary of 55k to live a happy and healthy life.  Furthermore, Glatter,MD,explains "what we do with our money is more important than the money we earn." As long as we know that the money is going to a good place, such as food for the family, help organizations and help other situations that go around us such as shelters for people without homes or food for the next day is a great feeling and the money has went to somewhere that is going to be used than only yourself. Money is what people work so hard for and desire to have, but isn't too much money a problem? As in the comic books and television shows, Batman has money, but with so much money he has there is a sorrowfulness in his heart where he spends so much money to fill the emptiness in his heart after his parent's death and shows the real side of people with money go through.  Meanwhile, Iron-man spends more money over and over for no reason and media makes us want to be that when reality not everyone makes it big, it's like a lottery, one in hundred-thousands win the big Jackpot and for others its just that illusion we are put in our minds that this can be you, but not everyone has the luck to succeed.

Timeline of the Batman to The Dark Knight (1940 vs. 2016)

Batman has changed from the very first years he was ever showed in television (Adam West, 1940). As we see in the left, Batman looks very plain and funny to look at due to his disguise as Batman. Batman on the left has no type of body mass, muscle mass, that can be described by his suit, also including his little yellow logo of Batman and his gadgets. As I become to see the first Batman even closer he seems to look like a joke to me because as of the way he is suit looks like. There is no way to take him serious as a Superhero wearing that in the streets fighting villains. This just reminds me of a side of Batman where he is more an annoying Superhero than a person to fear from. If i was a villain and had to deal with 1940's Batman I would be really annoyed. Not because of how he manages to always get in villains way, but of his costume.

Meanwhile, in the picture on the right Batman has a modern costume that goes with his persona (Ben Affleck, 2016). The color on his background matches perfectly with his suit. The way he is posed describes another different person that is serious to what he is doing. In addition, he shows the pain he is going through due to his traumatizing event where he saw his parents die in his own eyes and blames himself for their death. also, his suit is way better than the 1940's suit. Describes more muscularity on his suit to feel afraid due to his size, his Batman logo has expanded 20 x more than the first, and his gadgets look way better that blends in with everything around him and himself. In conclusion, now this 2016 remake of the 1940's Batman suit I can take serious and fear for, not as the one under these words.

Flash of Two worlds

I chose this picture from Episode 2 of The Flash because you can see that the show has a lot of similarities to the comic. But it also shows that the show and the comic is different. The metallic bean was not falling on the Detective but in the comic the beam was falling on the civilian. Also another dead give away in that the city is on fire in the show. In a way the show and the comic are different, they are not the same. People might confuse these two and make it seem as the show was heading towards what the comic is about, that's not the case. the show might have similarities but this show is heading towards a different way more of a depressing type of show not all bright and colors. this episode was about trust and Barry cannot trust the other flash until the end of the show making it seem like Barry has a lot of pent up emotions he can't let out. These two pictures are saying to different things. Even though they look the same.

This concludes the Ashwell interview.

TV shows have a darker tone?

Have you noticed how dark our favorite super heroes are in the shows we watch them in?
You probably have not, and who can blame a person for thinking otherwise if all we see from our heroes and our role models is them saving the day towards the end of the episode that we watch, the comics we may read or even the movies that we spend years looking forward to.
In most of the comic books that we see we are bombarded with a ray of shining colors projecting from our heroes but once we look towards the TV show adaptations of certain ones, we can see that these shiny outfit wearing heroes don't look all that colorful.
In this picture of Green Arrow he is in a scene that may be horrific to him as a character but if we look past that and notice how he is projected in it, we can see him in his bright green suit showing some sort of lightness to him, it shows the character even through his desperate times he projects an image of himself that may make people be hopeful of him to save the day. However, in the TV show looking at the first image of the blog, Green Arrow looks grim, somewhat darkness projects off of him if he is seen by someone from a far.

Art slides to Cinematic films

In the article Blockbuster Meets Superhero Comic, or Art House Meets Graphic Novel? The author, M McAllister depicts the raising trend of comic books transitioning to movie or show adaptations. The author states "More important, modern comic bookbased films have helped establish the industrial formula of the Hollywood popcorn blockbuster: fantastic action movie as cultural event" Meaning that comic flick movies have become something that society looks forward to discuss, perhaps as a way to mend with society and to remain in cultural discussions that people have with these movies. McAllister further adds "Comic book materials attract a youthful moviegoing demographic, appeal to nostalgic older audiences, and offer thrills and welldefined archetype characters". Showing us more ways how the comic to movie audience stay attracted to this trend and by the author's saying, it seems to appeal to most of our generation's society.

In my opinion i lean towards what McAllister says in the sense that comic book movie adaptations as well as TV show adaptations have a natural way of appealing to the mass majority of people, even the  not so die hard fans that some might align comic book lovers to be as.

They say looks don’t matter. But when it comes to movies and television, it actually does. In the article, “Stylish ‘Hollywoodland’ is an uneven flight,” by Claudia Puig, she talks about how certain actors fit the role of a superhero better than another simply because of how they look. She uses examples such as Ben Affleck, from when he was recently casted to play the role of a superhero in tights (batman.) She also mentions that Ben is somewhat of an embarrassment because “he has a talent for singing melancholy songs in Spanish…” Besides the fact that she’s calling him an embarrassment, she know since he’s a very good looking person, the film will get a lot more viewers because of it.

I say, I don’t recall Ben Affleck singing any song in Spanish, nor is he an embarrassment for playing a superhero. But I do say that looks matter when it comes to acting 99% of the time. Mainly because if an actor or actress isn’t very attractive or appealing to the eye, they won’t get the attention, nor interest, from people, therefore, they won’t be interested in watching the show or film. When it comes to casting, it is a very difficult process because not only does the actor or actress have to act the part, but also look the part. Most of the time, the way a person looks is what gets our attention; which is why we always see good looking actors on tv shows and movies. I’m not a huge fan of this author’s argument because she’s basically just insulting the actors she talks about. She also isn’t very persuasive and definitely did not convince me of her beliefs.

CIVIL WAR : Iron-Man VS Captain America

Hello, people! So this blog today will be different from the rest. As you can see I'm not writing about the Flash today. I will write about some of Jack Kirby's Comic books. In a year or so we have heard that the Avengers  will have a movie about the civil war that happens between to comrades. One being Iron-Man and the other Captain America. These two split super heroes in half making it two factions. As you can see in the picture Captain America is fighting Iron-Man and this is a huge turning point in Marvel history, making it one of the best stories out there well in my opinion. It makes me excited to see that even heroes have disagreements, that they aren't perfect as we see them to be. It gives them a sense of humanity even though they are these super powered beings. I find it so amazing  that this fight will be shown in 2016.Other then that I feel kinda restless and this drawing just makes it even better, Kirby really did do justice on this drawing of them fighting. It shows that Captain america is more cautious and conserve. while on the other hand Iron-man is more forward, striking with thinking but being reckless. It's a bit of an oxymoron but hey it's Iron-man. These two are complete opposites of each other which makes them the best candidates for a civil war. I'm just really excited, well thank you guys catch you next week.

Gotham, a city that has 200 years history, right now is dark, corrupt and degraded, citizens of the city can’t feel happiness because the justice cannot be uphold. People have to worry about their safe all the time. Bruce Wayne, is a rich man, but also has a sense of justice. At night, he will become the Batman to get rid of cruel and pacify the good people. However, Jack Napier, the man who wants to be the governor of Gotham city, was taken a heavy toll by Batman. So he wants to wipe out the Batman. After some drastic fighting, finally, the Batman defeat Jack Napier, and he save people of Gotham city.
The first cue is begin at 24:14 and spot out at 29:30. It is named surround. And it is Jack Napier’s theme. The cue make people feel little nervous, and there is some issue will be happen. The pacing is fast. The instruments of orchestration is low pitched woodwind and percussion. The music is phrasing the action.
The second one spots in 61:48 and spot out at 63:26. It is a song that names The Future. It is Jack Napier’s theme. The mood of this is funny. The pacing is medium. The orchestration is brass and percussion. The music is playing through the action.

Overall, the score enhanced this film. In the beginning, the score make a dark and powerful opining. In the movie’s sense, the music is phrasing the action. The mood of music just like background of the Gotham city.

How far have we came to?!?!

Batman vs. Robin? Father vs. Son? To what extend has society brainwashed us to go to that extreme
and fight ours parents to death? As a big Batman fan I can say this is the worst feeling to see the most best working teammates go at it against each other. After so many years they have worked together it all ends by them going at it. Not as a normal fight, but a fight to death. If you do not know, after so many generations superheroes have been Robin. This Robin is the most special and different one, not only because it's Batman (Bruce Wayne) and Talia al Ghul, because he has always has had the mentality of vengeance for his grandfather's  (Ra’s al Ghul) death and to prove to his father he can be some one strong, even stronger than his father, Bruce. Damien Wayne (Robin) has had trouble  having a normal son-father bond. He has only had pride for himself, to be tough and to brave to whoever gets in his way. That caused the war with his own father. Damien had the mentality of a grown up/ assassin killer, he had no feelings for no one but his grandfather and mother that he grew up with. By that time, it was very difficult to care for him if they were never there physically as he grew up. Damien can be compared to problems any teenager has went against their parents. Maybe because phones, clothes. etc. but to an extent. To want to kill our parents to be above them is too much. If Batman and Robin would have ended it in peace, it would have been a different story to this one. To have to kill your own son, your own blood because there was no other choice is just too much to go through, especially as a Batman fan and younger viewers.

The Transformation of Oliver Queen

Catching up on Arrow. One pivotal moment from the last season that aired was when Oliver queen underwent a transformation going from being simply "The Arrow" to being called "Al Sah-Him". The season was a little "off" compared to the previous in the sense that there weren't too many exciting moments that grabbed my attention. And me being a nerd when it comes to these comic TV show adaptations, i tend to look for the episodes that keep me hooked and hyped to know and fined out what's going to happen on the following episode. Without getting into to much spoilers, most of the episodes this season featured the "sub" characters instead of Oliver himself and this ties to his transformation into becoming "Al Sah-Him." In an article on Bustle.com called "What Does "Al Sah-Him" Mean On 'Arrow'? Oliver's New Identity Is Extremely Fitting"  author Kelly Schremph talks about how Oliver became "Al Sah-Him' when she stated "Change is never easy, but it's something Team Arrow is going to have to learn to deal with now that Oliver is an official member of the League of Assassins in preparation for becoming the next Ra's al Ghul." Basically she clarified why Oliver underwent his transformation and what it could signify to him becoming the next Ra's al Ghul. I myself see his transformation as the highlight of this season. When she further wrote "But at the same time, I'm not going to lie. Things are definitely looking pretty bleak at this point regarding Oliver's trajectory as Heir to the Demon." I feel that with Al Sah-Him at that time being prepped to take charge of the League, we really didn't get to see much of him early on of the season. Making it for me to be a downside of the season because it could have been fully flushed out as "The season of Al Sah-him" but instead there were shortcomings in my point of view. Moving forward. I see this show only improving from here on out due to it competing with The Flash as the best comic book TV show. " What's in a name, you may ask? Well, in Oliver's case, it may just be everything." A new name. A new identity. A major role change could happen for Oliver with him transforming to Al Sah-Him and later on, "Ra's al-Ghoul". I look forward to watching this show build up its plots and even its sub plots even though i don't find them as intriguing.

Ryan Reynolds, a superhero???

Despite the fact that I’m a HUGE Ryan Reynolds fan, I wasn’t such a fan of him playing the role of Green Lantern. When I think of Ryan Reynolds, I think of an amazing comedic actor, not a superhero. In an article on heyuguys.com, called “The Five Best And Worst Superhero Casting Decisions,” author Josh Wilding talks about how not many people were fond of the fact that not only was Ryan Reynolds casted as Green Lantern, but also that the movie was very poorly scripted compared to the original comic book. Wilding states that, “the fact that he (Ryan Reynolds) was lumbered with a terrible script and an unsuitable director ended up being more than enough for most fans to hope that the next Green Lantern is not only portrayed by a different actor, but that they also use a totally different character,” this clearly lets us know that most of the people who watched this movie were not pleased with how the film was put out. Wilding gives his personal input on the film franchising saying that, “it really is hard to not view take on the space faring superhero as bad enough to not want to see Ryan return and to implore the studio to make a fresh start,” basically meaning that the film should just be made again with a whole different outtake; how it should’ve been in the first place.

So what if The Flash Has A 'Black" Girlfriend ?!?!?

As a fan on the flash I was used to Iris being white. Her usual look blues eyes, orange reddish hair and other features. But when I saw this I was very intrigued because I've never seen a 'black' Iris before. But I have seen a black version of her nephew Wally West AKA The Kid Flash. According to Some Critics of comic books “race-bending” or “race-switching” in adaptations of comic book lore don’t seem to be racist. Rather, as one website summarizes their complaint, they object to “political correctness pandering meant to foster the illusion of diversity, which is disrespectful to the tradition of these characters AND the general public.” The point these critics are trying to make is the race-bending these characters are bad and should go back to the traditional way the comic books were, meaning Iris would have to be white again and every other character who was white has to be white and can'rt be another race. Some comic book nerds of a certain age states,"the “tradition” of comic books in the 1950s and '60s was to ignore blacks — perhaps to avoid offending readers in the South (or their racist parents)." In other words, these nerds believe the the traditional way was ignoring blacks and appealing to white american so they wouldn't get offended that whites and blacks would mix making these super heroes being white with white girlfriends or wife. DC Comics Admitted when they wrote "That tradition was a dishonest and dishonorable one — as DC Comics admitted in a 1970." In making this comment DC urges us to think away from the traditional way, it was bad and dishonest. It showed that it was racist and it wanted to appeal to white Americans. Well as a nerd of flash I find the new Iris to be amazing she plays a great part in Barry's life, she is also beautiful, and sticks to her character. while it might have drifted from the traditional way, I'm finding myself to enjoy it, I love a new change something exciting. I believe The flash can have a black girlfriend, which in the future she becomes his wife.

Original (Silver Age) Flash Costume

In this picture you have the flash running at high speeds. You can see this, behind him while he is running and tearing threw the streets, literally taking them apart as he runs.you can also tell that he is running really fast by his limbs because they are blurred out giving it the motion of high speeds. also the legs each step he takes is explosive to the ground. The lines in this picture are wild they  go everywhere, the lighting he is generating in giving him power. The lighting shows so much movement the intensity of this movement is complacently wild and out of control. What you might notice fist in this picture is the symbol in he chest, this is because the symbol on his chest is in the center but the not only that the Red color is much brighter and you can see it clearly and it grabs your attention.

Rebooting!

Each superhero movie has its own characters, but years later, when they want to remake that same film (not every single superhero movie), they recast each character. But, this only happens when they REBOOT the film or series. It's never re-casted for-say, the second continuation of the first one. For example, the Fantastic 4. The reboot of this film was renamed into Fantastic Four instead of Fantastic 4. Even though it's not much of a difference, it's in a way, telling us that it's not a completely different part of the sequel, but a remake of the original with different characters and not the exact same scenes as the other films. Of course you might think that the original cast is way better, so why would they recast the whole thing. I don't blame you! I feel the exact same way! But, we have to understand that they're not replacing the other the original cast because it's not actually part of the sequel! They're showing us the entire film from a different perspective! And I'm sure we haven't seen the last of superhero movies being rebooted! The good thing we get out of it is seeing who plays a better Human Torch or Mister Fantastic. Look at it like this, we all get to be film reviewers in a way!
